Bargain

Bargain is an app I’ve developed alongside my friend and classmate from UW Madison, Alex Shwe. Madison, Wisconsin has nearly as many bars and restaurants as it does students, so it can be very difficult to figure out where to go.

We created Bargain to centralize all food and drink deals across all bars and restaurants. Users can explore deals by bar or by day, as well as favorite bars, restaurants, and specific deals. Additionally, users can view other users’ profiles and view their favorites as well. We have also added a map feature to allow users to find the closest bar to them.

Bargain started as just an idea during our senior year of college, but it has now blossomed into a fully functional app that is available on the app store. Alex has done most of the programming in SwiftUI, while I have led our marketing and graphics efforts with the creation of our logo, consistent social media content, app store previews, flyers, flags, and more.
